Danny Sickels

Danny Sickels is a WordPress Developer at Furiosity Marketing, where he builds high-performance websites that are as functional as they are easy to find online.

Danny’s path into web development took an unconventional route. He didn’t pursue a computer science degree in college, instead earning a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services and completing a clinical dietetic internship. Along the way, he also spent nearly a decade in retail, working his way up to a leadership role, where he built a strong foundation in communication, customer service, and attention to detail.

His passion for technology and coding led him to teach himself programming through Codecademy’s Computer Science path, starting with Python before advancing to HTML/CSS, SQL, and JavaScript on his own.

Danny joined the Furiosity team in 2026 as a WordPress Developer, where he customizes child themes using HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP, and builds accessible, SEO-focused layouts to improve visibility across both traditional search and AI-powered search results.

Do you have any favorite projects?

I really enjoy big overhauls. I love problem solving to figure out how everything breaks down and works together, then building the best possible site to serve what the client needs.

What motivates you in your work?

I’m a big learner and a natural problem solver. I love tinkering, even at home, where I built my own home lab to host my own website.

What’s your spirit core value?

Furiosity. I enjoy learning how things work, and I would happily spend a whole day investigating.
